Having the right equipment can help a rescue go smoothly and keep the rescuer as safe as possible. Is your equipment ready to save a life?
 
Remember, as a rescuer you are there to be part of the solution, you do not want to become part of the problem. Train with your equipment. Your role may change quickly during a rescue and being prepared by having the right rescue equipment ready for immediate use and the correct personal protective equipment on and in perfect functioning order, will help insure the successful rescue of a victim and the safety of the rescuers.
