Rescue Extraction & Package
First responders enter the water and safely recover a victim for the water, prepare the victim for starting the re-warming process and transport the victim to an ambulance.
Dive
Door Extraction
First responders safely demonstrate the extraction of a victim from the water utilizing different types of extraction equipment, through a "dive door" of a lower freeboard style watercraft.
Double
Sling & Package Extraction
First responders safely demonstrate the extraction of a victim from the water utilizing double slings and processing a victim for transport by properly "packaging" the victim in an effort to start the re-warming process.
High Freeboard Extraction
First responders safely demonstrate the safe extraction of a victim
from the water utilizing different types of extraction equipment,
up to and over a high freeboard rescue watercraft.
Moderate
Freeboard/Single Sling
first responders safely demonstrate the extraction of a victim from the water utilizing a single sling application to bring the victim safely on board a rescue watercraft with "moderate" freeboard.
Small
Boat Rescue/Net Extraction
First responders safely demonstrate the extraction of a victim from
the water utilizing different a rescue net to bring the victim on
board a "small" rescue watercraft, typically with low freeboard, keeping
the victim in a horizontal position.
