First responders offer an important section for the viewer of the
Cold Water Series and give direction and offer experiences to those
potential and current rescue professionals.
Ambulance
Transport
First responders demonstrate the triage and ambulance care of a cold
water immersion victim from entry to the ambulance to the hand off
in the hospital. Communications between responders in the ambulance
and with the hospital are included.
Thermal Protection Test
First responders and "campers" offer information about the types of
equipment and safety apparel they are wearing and its effectiveness
in cold water immersion environments.
